The Monday.com Plugin enables the listed actions and triggers

1. Trigger - New Item in Board

This trigger starts an automation when a new item is created in a specified board.

Fields - You need to fill in the following fields for this function:

  • Display Name: The name you want to set for the node

  • Board ID: The name of the Monday.com board to monitor for new items.

2. Action (Search) - Get All Items in Board

This action, when activated, retrieves the values of all items in a specified group or groups, from a specified board in your Monday.com account.

Fields - You need to fill in the following fields for this function:

  • Display Name: The name you want to set for the node

  • Board ID: The ID of the Monday.com board to retrieve items from.

  • Group Id (Optional): The name of the specific group from the board you chose to retrieve items from.

3. Action (Search) - Get Groups in Board

This action returns the names of groups for a specific board.

Fields - You need to fill in the following fields for this function:

  • Display Name: The name you want to set for the node.

  • Board ID: The ID of the Monday.com board to retrieve groups from.

4. Action (Search) - Get all Boards

This action retrieves all boards and their descriptions from your Monday.com account.

Fields - You need to fill in the following fields for this function:

  • Display Name: The name you want to set for the node.

5. Action (Create) - Create New Item

This action creates a new item with a specified name within a selected group on your Monday.com board.

Fields - You need to fill in the following fields for this function:

  • Display Name: The name you want to set for the node.

  • Board ID: The name of the Monday.com board to create the item in.

  • Group Id: The name of the specific group from the board you chose to add the item to.

  • Item name: The name of the item that will be added.

  • Column values: The values to fill in for each column in the board.

6. Action (Create) - Create Item Update

When this action is activated, a new update with specified content will be attached to a selected item in your Monday.com board.

Fields - You need to fill in the following fields for this function:

  • Display Name: The name you want to set for the node.

  • Board ID: The name of the Monday.com board containing the item you want to add the update to.

  • Item ID: The name of the item you want to add the update to.

  • Update Text: The text you want to add to the update of the item you chose.
