Authentication
Create a connection between your Twilio and Varolio accounts
To use the Twilio Plugin, you must first obtain the necessary Twilio account credentials. Follow these steps to authenticate your Twilio account:
There are 2 ways to connect your Twilio account to Varolio.
1. Connect Using Account SID, API Key, API Key Secret
Step 1
Go to the Twilio website at https://www.twilio.com/ and sign in to your account.
Step 2
Click on "Account" in the top right corner, and select "API keys & tokens" from the dropdown menu.
Step 3
Click on the "Create API Key" button.
Step 4
Give your API key a descriptive name, select a region, and key type, and click on the "Create" button.
Step 5
Copy the generated API key and secret.
Step 6
In your Varolio, navigate to "Connections".
Step 7
Press "Add" and choose Twilio.
Step 8
Give your connection a descriptive name, paste your Twilio account seed, the copied API key SID and secret into the designated fields and press "Connect".
2. Connect Using Account SID and Auth Token:
Step 1
Go to the Twilio website at https://www.twilio.com/ and sign in to your account.
Step 2
In your Varolio, navigate to "Connections".
Step 3
Press "Add" and choose Twilio.
Step 4
Give your connection a descriptive name
Step 5
In Twilio, at the bottom of your home screen in your account, under the "Account Info", copy the "Account SID" and "Auth Token" and paste them in the designated field in Varolio, and press "Connect".
